Optional arrival in Girona and transfer to Olot. Olot is known for being the most singular volcano landscape in the Iberian Peninsula, with about 40 dormant volcanoes. You can also walk through La Fageda den Jordà, a beech wood, well-known for its beauty.
Start to follow the cycle path along the old narrow gauge railway line "Carrilet dOlot". You reach Les Planes d'Hostoles, passing the fantastic area of the Bas Valley with its gorgeous countryside and typical villages, also called the Catalán Switzerland. Once in Les Planes, take your time to enjoy the gorges next to the river. 22 km - 14 miles
Cycle down the Ter River towards Girona. This is a loger ride, but manly downhill and flat. Once in the city, you can spend the rest of the day visiting the Cathedral, with the broadest nave of Gothic architecture in the world and getting lost in the narrow streets of the ancient Jewish quarter. We also recommend a stroll along the Rambla or the medieval walls, with a fantastic panoramic view of the city. 35 - 20 miles
Today is a short ride, so you have time to say goodbye to Girona. You pass the village of Quart, well-known for its ceramics, and Cassà de la Selva, with beautiful modernist houses in the centre of the town. You can spend the afternoon having a good time with the animals in the farms nearby the accommodation. 16 km - 10 miles
The last stage is long but also flat and easy to cycle. A fun downhill takes you to the town of Sant Feliu de Guíxols, with its magnificent fishing port and cultural interest, especially for its monastery. You can enjoy the rest of the day at the beach. 30 km - 19 miles

From Sant Feliu de Guíxols
We think cycle touring is the ideal way to travel in Europe and that is why we are very pleased to launch European Bike Adventures, as it allows us the opportunity to offer a whole new set of experiences to people we know will appreciate them.
Accordingly we have taken our time in selecting the portfolio of cycle tours you find listed here.
A selection of hand-picked bike trips in spectacular places throughout Europe that focus on fun with the same attention to detail and quality that hundreds of our very satisfied clients have been enjoying with Ibero Cycle Tours since 1999.
On a self-guided tour, you are basically independent. IberoCycle transports luggage to the next hotel.
Riders are expected to complete each day's ride, unless there is an emergency, or a mechanical problem.
Cyclists do not travel as part of a group or with a guide, although they may coincide with other cyclists on the same trip.
Our "IberoCycle On Call" service means we are always available for help or advice.
Cyclists are provided with our own detailed Route Guide and maps for their chosen route.
Fitter cyclists may extend stages at will.
Information will be added shortly for the bikes available on these tours.
